Our mission is to welcome everyone, to love and serve widows and orphans, to love God and our neighbors, and we would love for you to join us in that. The Sorenson family has faithfully served at RVC both at multiple campuses and ministries for many years. Presently, Tim serves as the Sunny Valley Campus Pastor along with directing local outreach for all RVC campuses. Rachel serves as our RVC Kids Director, along with being the Network Associate Worship Director.
Together, Tim and Rachel are passionate about pouring into and supporting the future of our Sunny Valley community. They have been happily married since 2014 and love sharing life with their daughter Clara.
Moving to SV in 2005, Michelle and her husband Rick have felt a long-term burden to see the gospel reach out to their home area. When the opportunity came to purchase the SV property on the courthouse steps, the Rutherfords were quick to ask the RVC Elders to pray over pursuing a campus in their valley. Long story short, God moved miraculously, and the rest is history. Since 2010, Michelle has served the RVC Network as our Finance Director, and since the opening of the SV Campus in 2022, Michelle also serves as the SV Campus Director.
She and Rick love their home and community.
They are committed to following Jesus together in Sunny Valley and beyond.
