Dear RVC Family,
We are almost to the end of Christianity 101. We moved from the characters of the story – God, the devil, humanity – to the plot of the story: Creation, Fall, Redemption, and Resolution. So here we are in the last chapters of the story, between the Ascension and the final victorious Return of the King. (Tolkien fans, you see what I did there?)
How do we- the fellowship of believers – walk out this journey as believers? Our last few videos will examine some key biblical ideas about living on a fallen planet, waiting, watching, and working for the fullness of God’s kingdom. We begin today with two videos to help us remember and more fully grasp two biblical concepts – indeed, two promises – for believers: Peace and Hope.
In Christ, these words – Peace and Hope – are more than naive wishing, they are unshakeable truths.
These short videos are meant to encourage you to think hard and think well about your faith in God. If you would like more information or if you are inspired to ask a deeper question, please email me at afrye@rivervalleycc.org.
Grace and peace
