The Goens family has faithfully ministered at River Valley Church (RVC) since 1991. Mark and Dana began by shepherding our student ministry for seven years, then Mark became the primary RVC Campus Lead Pastor from 1997 to 2022. Presently Mark serves the RVC family as our Lead Pastor, shepherding all the Campus Pastors within our RVC network family. Dana serves alongside Mark with a huge passion for Life Group and Connections Ministries. They celebrate being married for over 40 years and their four wonderful grown children: Tyler, Nicole, Natalie, and Cody. More recently, they celebrated the arrival of their granddaughters Ellie, Olivia, and Sophia.
Mark and Dana are so grateful to the Lord for their family and our church.
At River Valley you can expect relevant biblical messages, authentic worship and music with both an upbeat and reflective flavor. With “come as you are” informal worship services, multiple classes, ministries for children, students, and adults of all ages. Our Life Groups meet all over the valley and are where people connect in smaller groups for the purpose of spiritual growth, encouragement, relationship, and outreach.
